The official BC Chess Federation youth chess tournament - 2025 BC Provincial Youth Chess Championship - will happen at the Bonsor Recreation Complex in Burnaby from March 22th - 23rd, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for juniors to meet over a chessboard, enhance their chess skills and make new friends in the spacious tournament hall.

Generation Health is a FREE 10-week healthy lifestyle program for children and their families, delivered through YMCA BC and in partnership with the Childhood Healthy Living Foundation. Program participants will meet virtually or in person to learn about healthy eating, physical activity, goal setting, body image, self-esteem and more!

Youth Adventures in Leadership (YAIL) is open to participants ages 15 to 17 and is held annually at Alex House (2916 McBride Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada).

Participants are sponsored by their local Rotary Club in District 5050. YAIL gives participants insight into some of the basics of what it means and takes to be a leader.
