Geneskool is the educational outreach of GenomeBC. It offers several activities for secondary students including in class workshops, campus fieldtrips, online workshops, and summer camp. Summer Science Program goals are to provide opportunities for students to experience lab activities at university level and help them find interest in STEM.
Summer Science Program this July on UFV Chilliwack campus: This week-long day camp gives students the opportunity to step into a university lab and explore real world science through hands-on experiments. Students will learn and apply techniques such as gel electrophoresis, PCR, and SDS-PAGE while working collaboratively to solve scientific challenges, analyze data, and uncover results.
