Ridge First Aid is excited to offer Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Courses with First Aid during Spring Break for youth in the Abbotsford community.

Babysitting Course with First Aid – Spring Break

📅 Dates: March 20 OR March 27, 2026

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

📍 Location: Ridge First Aid School, 240 – 34077 Gladys Ave, Abbotsford

👥 Ages: 11–16 (must be at least 11 years old or have completed Grade 5)

💰 Cost: $64.95

The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course helps youth build confidence and responsibility while learning how to care for children safely. Participants will gain practical childcare skills, leadership experience, and basic first aid training to help them respond to real-life situations.

Students will learn:

Babysitting responsibilities and leadership skills

Basic childcare (feeding, diapering, dressing, and play)

Safety awareness and accident prevention

First aid for common injuries and emergencies

Strategies for managing challenging situations while babysitting

Each participant receives the official Canadian Red Cross Babysitter’s Manual, hands-on scenario practice, and a Certificate of Completion.
