Public Safety Canada is excited to offer the Young Women in Public Safety (YWPS) Program again this July!
This unique program has been created to introduce female high school students to diverse and exciting employment opportunities available in the realm of safety and security. This program will inspire young women to take a leadership role in their communities and pursue a meaningful and exciting career in areas of public safety such as border security, corrections, correctional investigation, community safety, information and intelligence, policy development and more! Note that priority will be given to grade 11 students.
The program itself will take place from July 7‑11, 2025, in Surrey (as well as 5 other locations). More information about the program and application process can be found in the attached documents.
The application period for the summer 2025 edition is from January 15, 2025 to February 12, 2025. Applications for the program must be submitted through the direct link below.
